Because it's right below the intake. It wasn't expensive, only $317 for everything, including a pinion seal on the rear diff, which was like $60. So it wasn't bad at all. And yeah, I hate these new computerized engines... The Kota, which is a 97, has nothing like this...

Maybe just the throttle body lol Idk, it was a few months ago bro. lol I didn't witness em doing it, so idk.
got out the inspection mirror, could not see any water leaking from the t stat housing anywhere, that does not sound good
Can't promise you anything then there buddy... Just hoping it ain't something huge. Put up a thread about it and see if anybody knows anything else. I ain't the greatest on these trucks lol

man it aint cool when you 1) dont know ho deep the water is so you say f-it hold my beer its going into 4x4. 2 ) you all most put her on her side and are drunk. 3 ) you come to a river that you had no clue was there
I haven't washed my truck in about 2+ months and she's looking bad. it's too cold to do the Hand wash routine and I dislike paying $16-$20 for a complete automated wash and the gas station car wash is ok, but the automatic dryer leaves 90% of the water on the truck, and in the winter, it freezes to the truck. I guess I have to decide which is the "least worst" option.
I go to the local Oil n Go, they have a heated do it yourself wash out back. For $20, I do a good hand wash.
no oil 'n' go here. and the "do it yourself" washes here, although have garage doors that you close, they still are cold, because when a car leaves, the door stays open until someone closes it. so the place is always cold. and someone is alway's waiting to use the wash bay, so i felt "hurried" and I hate that. I think since it'll be in the 40's on friday, I'll get a quick "gas station wash" and drive down the freeway at 70, blowing the excess water off. - heck it's only $7
