nah i gave up on finding the newer truck. i decided to just drive the civic for now in school and as soon as i get out of school im buying a 2500 or 3500 dodge with a cummins. better motor and easy to work on. i got $2600 for the ranger
that's cool man. i'm suprised you don't look into a duramax, they are mean as hell right out of the box.
ehhh i dont like the gen 1 dmax to many problems. the middle ones are okay. the new LMM's are crap on accleration cause of the new fuel mapping. im looking at maybe 1 98-2000 2500 with the 24V and XC auto or manual doesnt matter to me
the gen 1 Dmax definitly isin't the worst out there, mostly fuel system issues i thought. although those are expensive to fix. we had a couple at work, an '01 we still have and an '06 we sold after someone filled it with gas and ran it almost 200 miles. both were a blast to drive. if you go for a cummins make sure it dosin't have the dreaded "53" block, don't be like my buddie and fall in love with the first truck you find, lol.

i hate how both of my jobs are awesome and i love them, but the stuff i do can't be discussed outside of the shops. i've got sweet pictures and videos of cool stuff that i want to use to make other people know how awesome i think i am, damn it!
