ill be using the gun for pheasant hunting while im in ct then ill get a slug barrel with a scope on it for when i go up to michigan. im not an avid hunter yet, ive never even shot a gun before. i think i would get a camo synthetic stock and fore end or a black stock and fore end.
do they sell guns at wall-mart up in connecticut? i was eyeballing a remington 870 at our local mall-wart down here, black synthetic stock, they had a 12 and a 20 guage for around $250 ish if i remember right. i passed though because i want something with a wood stock, might walk around some gun shows and get something there.... best deal i found on a case was when i was out at cabela's, i got a locking aluminum scoped rifle case big enough for both my .22's for $41
wow thats a great deal. i think they might have just stopped selling guns and ammo at walmart. they sell them at dicks and cabelas. ill take a look next time im at walmart. if i get a 870 with a wood stock i would sell it to you for cheap. i hope they do sell guns at walmart because this one is pretty cool. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Remington-870-Express-Super-Magnum/17654660
anyone know how I can get my hunters safety card. With work it makes it hard to do anything, not to mention the class is like 4 hours a night or so.
some states allow you to do some of the material online than just go to some of the class. it varies fro each state.
Your gonna have to take the course! No way around it. Go online and look up your states game commission and look for links to the hunters safety program. There should be listed either a contact or a list of class dates and locations.
i know in ky they have a exemption certificate that you can get once in a lifetime that is good for one year from the date of issuance for 5 bucks.... i just checked the WVDNR page and it doesnt look like they offer the exemption certificate. but they do offer courses online http://www.hunter-ed.com/westvirginia/index.html click the link and it should take you to the page to sign up and the only bad thing with doing it online looks like is that you have to pay 25 bucks to get the card but its better than having to take off of work....
ah sitting here watching ghost adventures and listening to my alma mater's football game on the radio... and surfin the net hahahahaha i have no life... hahahahaha
