Niiiiice. Do you have any closeup pics of that front light mount/license plate holder? That looks interesting.
No i dont..but heres a link http://www.carr.com/light-bars/light-wings.html I bought it many years ago for $69.. looks like the price went way up...
Ouch! I might have to try my hand at welding something together like that. Kinda like how they're right above the bumper but not attached to the top of the bumper. I don't have a front plate, but it might be cool to add 2 lights on the bottom side too.
I Plasti-Dipped my Chrome bumpers in RED PLASTI-DIP. Along with the outer trim of my grill... What Do you Think??
U can get it in many basic colors...grey, white, green, blue, red, black...most of the colors u have to order online. Local places around me only have red and black in the spray but have blue in the liquid dip.
Some aspects are not my cup of tea, but I can dig it!! What's that yellow painted thing under your frame? What did you use on the flares, bedrails, and other exterior plastics? Yeah how does that mount? Is it rigid enough using just the plate mount? Meaning do the lights bounce and toss around while on and driving down a somewhat bumpy road? That's the only thing I worry about with that mount.....and stainless lamps aren't exactly light. lol. Not to threadjack, but Buggman you can also do the old tried and true light tabs. Bolts to existing 98-05 bolts on the backside of the bumper....no new holes needed. End result looks a little something like this... http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/ff159/Fx4wannabe01/PA140022.jpg http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/ff159/Fx4wannabe01/PA140021.jpg add a crossmember... http://s243.photobucket.com/user/Fx4wannabe01/media/P7270185.jpg.html EDIT: aaaaand apparently my bandwith has hit capacity? On an account that's like 8 years old and never ever ever gets used? lol.
I will post up more pics soon, and some from the rear.. I used black Herculiner bedliner on the flares and bumper pieces, bed rails and bed, and tube steps. I used red Durabak bedliner (since Herculiner no longer offers other colors) on the rocker panels and bottom of the tailgate. The yellow thing is my transfercase Skid plate. I am painting my gas tank skidplate RED.
I like the fact that you covered the top and down the sides some with the bed liner that area always get chipped. Truck looks good !
