Hey guys, my alternator went on my 2000 4.0, so after putting in the new one, I noticed that the belt is rubbing on a small, rubber coated metal tab attached to the Drive belt tensioner, I then put the old alternator in and that had the belt rubbing too. Is there a problem with my tensioner or is the belt supposed to touch that piece?
