Hello everyone, just to start I have a 2000 Ford ranger with a 4.0L v6 and it is 4x4. I recently noticed I was hearing a rattling noise coming from my catalytic converter. When I took off my exhaust from the y pipe I tipped it over and a bunch of the catalyst fell out. After seeing this I decided to cut and weld on a new cat in place of that one. The one right in front of it tho still had loose catalyst inside but it wasn’t as bad so I didn’t replace it. I notice my truck is being a bit sluggish when accelerating could this be that cat or something else?
