I’m not sure how old your ranger is, but if it’s a 97 or older, what about the radius arms/bushings? Maybe sway bar links?
Have a ‘97 3.0 I’m willing to let go , free to whoever wants to come get it. I’m near Marion ohio, this engine is still in the front frame section...

Putting a lower rear end in would help, like 4.10’s. Esp if you have a really high rear end right now, like 3.45’s
