I found a strange box installed in my 97 Ranger. Some wires under the dashboard have been tapped, and a small box has been connected. It is approximately 2" x 3", and approx 1/3" thick. There is no writing anywhere on the box, inside or outside. It contains only a circuit board with no writing on it. Near the box, and on another wire, is a tiny on/off switch.
Anybody know what it is?
